Loving Jesus; Serving His Bride.

We are a missionary collective committed to workings alongside the Church as She participates in God’s mission.

Our team reflects the global Church; diverse in background, united in Christ.

We are compelled by the love of Christ, a love that does not remain abstract but moves us outward toward His people. Because Christ gave Himself for all, we no longer live or work from self-interest, cultural assumptions, or institutional habit. Instead, we offer our lives, skills, and relationships in service to the Church, trusting that love, received and given, is what truly shapes faithful witness across cultures.

Our Approach

We exists to stand with the Church as it takes its rightful place as the leader of Bible translation. We are a brotherhood of church leaders and practitioners who believe that Bible translation is not a technical project, but an act of spiritual reclamation. Our purpose is to facilitate the Church’s ownership of the Great Commission by providing the vision and support needed for the Church to govern, resource, and sustain the translation of God’s Word within its own community.

Toward that end, our work begins with listening. We learn from local believers, leaders, and communities before offering tools, training, or guidance. Rather than exporting programs or predetermined solutions, we seek to understand the histories, languages, and spiritual lives already present, trusting that God has been at work long before we arrive.

Bound by a Shared Calling

The hands and hearts behind the collective.

Together for God’s Purposes

This work did not begin with an organization, but with people called together for a purpose. Our paths converged through shared formation and years of collaborative cross-cultural ministry, where we were shaped by the same questions, the same communities, and the same conviction that the Church is strongest when Scripture, training, and leadership are held in local hands.

Together, we served across regions marked by linguistic diversity, complex histories, and resilient faith, walking with church networks and disciple-making movements throughout the Sahel of Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. In these places, our work was forged not in theory but in practice, as we listened, taught, adapted, and learned alongside believers engaging God’s Word in their own languages and contexts.

While seasons change and assignments shift, our shared calling has remained. We are convinced that the Lord brought us together, and continues to keep us together, to carry forward the work He began among us.

Strategic Mission Collective exists as an expression of that conviction: a commitment to continue serving the Church with the same trust, humility, and clarity that has shaped us from the beginning.

“So the churches were strengthened in the faith, and they increased in numbers daily.”

What We Hold & Practice

These convictions guide how we live and serve for the flourishing of the Church.

Jesus Christ is Lord. We submit our lives, our work, and our decisions to His authority, trusting that He alone leads and sustains His Church. Our confidence is not in strategy or strength, but in obedience to Christ, who is the Head of the Body and the Source of its life and growth.

We receive the Holy Scriptures as God’s living Word, given for the strengthening of the Church in faith. We approach the Bible not merely as a text to be mastered, but as truth to be heard, internalized, and lived, informing how we teach, train, and walk alongside others across cultures and contexts.

We labor first in prayer, acknowledging our dependence on the Lord in all things. Prayer is not preparation for the work; it is the work itself. Through prayer, we seek God’s wisdom, discern His leading, and remain attentive to His Spirit as He builds His Church.

We are committed to the strengthening of the Church in faith, believing that God grows His people through encouragement, sound teaching, and patient formation. Our work is ordered toward building up the body of Christ, supporting churches as they grow in maturity, unity, and confidence in the gospel.

We participate in God’s mission by serving the Church as it bears witness to Christ among all peoples. We approach this work with humility, honoring local languages, cultures, and leadership, and trusting that the gospel takes root most deeply when it is received, proclaimed, and lived within each community.

We value faithfulness in our relationships, with God, with one another, and with the churches we serve. This includes honoring families, stewarding trust with care, and living lives marked by integrity, patience, and mutual responsibility, recognizing that ministry flows from who we are before God.

With Thanksgiving

Walking together, as one in Christ.

We give thanks for the work God has done among us and entrust all that lies ahead to His care.

May our life and labor serve the strengthening of His Church, as Christ forms His people in faith, unity, and love.

To Him alone be all the glory.
